Everthrive Pet Wellness (“Everthrive”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use everthrivepet.com, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

Who we are

Everthrive Pet Wellness is an educational resource founded by Dr. Mel, providing evidence-based information on integrative canine health. You can reach us at info@everthrivepet.com, or by post at P.O. Box 1213, Knysna, 6570, South Africa, with any question about this policy or your data.

What we collect

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and deliver what you ask for.

• Information you give us. When you request the free assessment or contact us, we collect your name and email address, together with any message you send through the contact form. If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence.
• Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps — for security and performance purposes.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We use the cookies necessary for the site to function, and — where you have consented — advertising and measurement cookies. See Advertising and measurement below.

We do not knowingly collect information about your own health or your veterinary records. If you choose to share details about your dog when contacting us, we treat that as ordinary correspondence and keep it confidential.

How we use it

• To send you the assessment, guide, or other resource you requested.
• To send occasional educational emails, if you have opted in to receive them.
• To respond to questions you send us.
• To keep the site secure, working, and free of abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to operate the site, and only to the extent they need it:

• Website hosting — stores the site and its server logs.
• ClickFunnels — hosts our guide and course pages at learn.everthrivepet.com and go.everthrivepet.com, and stores your name and email in order to deliver the resources you requested and send you the emails you opted in to.
• Meta Platforms — receives website activity for advertising and measurement, as described below.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Advertising and measurement

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to understand how people find and use this site, to measure whether our ads work, and to show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.

• The pixel runs in your browser, sets cookies, and reports page views and similar actions to Meta.
• The Conversions API sends comparable information directly from our server. This can include your IP address, browser details, and — where you have given it to us — a hashed (scrambled) version of your email address, which Meta uses to match activity to an account without us sharing the address itself.
• The same Meta dataset is used on our ClickFunnels pages, so activity on everthrivepet.com and on learn.everthrivepet.com is linked for attribution.

These are not essential to run the site, so we rely on your consent and ask before enabling them. You can decline, or change your mind later, using the cookie controls on this site. You can also limit ad personalisation in your Meta account settings, and block cookies in your browser.

We never send Meta the content of any message you write to us, and we do not share information about your dog’s health.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details for as long as you remain subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return. You can ask us to delete them at any time. Server logs are retained on a short rolling basis by our host.

Your rights

We are based in South Africa and handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. Depending on where you live, you may hold equivalent rights under your own country’s law.

To exercise any of these, email info@everthrivepet.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and costs you nothing.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers by email.
