These terms govern your use of everthrivepet.com and any digital products, workshops, or resources purchased or downloaded through it. By using the site, you agree to them.
Educational purpose — not veterinary advice
Everything on this site is provided for educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for regular veterinary care, and it does not replace medical advice given to you by your own veterinarian.
No veterinarian–client–patient relationship is created by your use of this site, by reading our materials, or by corresponding with us. We cannot diagnose, prescribe for, or treat your animal, and nothing here should be read as an attempt to do so.
Always consult your primary veterinarian before making changes to your dog’s medical care, prescription medications, or therapeutic diet. If your dog is unwell, seek veterinary attention. In an emergency, contact an emergency veterinary service immediately — do not delay care in order to work through material found here.
Using this site
You agree to use the site lawfully, and not to:
- Copy, reproduce, resell, or redistribute our content or digital products.
- Share access credentials or purchased materials with anyone else.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems.
- Use the site or its content to provide veterinary or medical advice to third parties.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, graphics, logos, workbooks, flowcharts, video, and course materials — is owned by Everthrive Pet Wellness or used under licence, and is protected by copyright.
When you purchase a digital product, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own animals. You do not acquire ownership of the material, and you may not reproduce, distribute, or resell it.
Digital products and workshops
Purchases are one-time charges granting lifetime access to the material bought. There are no recurring subscription fees. Access is provided as soon as payment completes.
Because our products are digital and instantly available, all sales are final. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Results
Every animal is different. We share frameworks, research, and clinical experience — we do not promise any particular outcome for your dog. Nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee of results, and we make no such guarantee.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Everthrive Pet Wellness and Dr. Mel are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information or products offered on this site. You remain responsible for decisions made about your animal’s care, in consultation with your own veterinarian.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.
Third-party links
Where we link to external research, resources, or services, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
